Events of chair 'Chair of Agricultural modernisation policies in Africa'

Joël Cariolle, Research Officer at Ferdi, will present his paper co-authored with David Carroll at this annual scientific event organized by the CSAE, the Centre for the Study of African Economies at the University of Oxford, on March 23 in Oxford.

Joël Cariolle, Research Officer at FERDI, presented his paper co-authored with David Carroll at the PSSD seminar, organized by the research groups in Development Economics and International Economics at the University of Paris Panthéon-Sorbonne, on February 17th in Paris.

On October 4, Jean-Marc Gravellini, Head of the FERDI Chair on ‘Agricultural Modernisation Policies in Africa’, will lead a FERDI-ALFA roundtable on food security at FrancoTech, on the sidelines of the Francophonie Summit.

Roundtable organised by FERDI in partnership with CIRAD and CERDI Université Clermont Auvergne CNRS IRD on 3 October 2024 at the Sommet de l'élevage (Livestock Summit) in Cournon d'Auvergne.

Du 1er au 4 octobre 2024, une délégation de la Commission de la CEMAC, conduite par le Vice-Président Charles Assamba Ongodo, a effectué une mission à Clermont-Ferrand. Cet échange s'inscrivait dans le cadre de la collaboration entre la Ferdi, le Cerdi et la CEMAC (Communauté économique des États d'Afrique centrale).

Le lundi 30 septembre 2024, la Ferdi représentée par Catherine Araujo Bonjean, l'AFDI AuRa ainsi qu'une délégation de cinq membres de l'UCAVICI, conduite par son président M. Sindou Fofana et sa trésorière Mme Djebenou Traore, se sont retrouvées pour une réunion de travail sur la chaine de valeur avicole.
